John R. Wagner, MD, FACOG, is a 1987-graduate of The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. While at Icahn, he was honored with the Alan F. Guttmacher Award as well as membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His postgraduate training includes his obstetrics and gynecology residency served at the University Hospital at Stony Brook in Stony Brook, NY (1987-1991), where he received research awards (1990, 1991), as well as the Medical Student Teaching Award (1990), and the Martin L. Stone Award (1991). Dr. Wagner completed his undergraduate education, i.e., his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He attained board certification in obstetrics and gynecology as well as female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. An enthusiastic fan of St. Louis Cardinals, Dr. Wagner enjoys listening to baseball on the radio while tending his vegetable garden.
